Brenda Clark

Entering the program at SFCC has really made a difference in my personal and professional life. I feel that I hold myself to different standards now, I am proud that I am finally accomplishing this step and not letting anything get in the way of my success. I also feel that my directors and other manager see me differently and hold me in more of a professional light. I feel that I take more time with my correspondences with others to ensure that they are professional. Working as much as I do and completing the home is a challenge but in the end it will all be worth it. After I receive my bachelor’s degree I will be applying to Providence University for my Master’s degree which I truly never thought about obtaining before but since entering the program at SFCC I know that I do not want to stop here. I want to go all the way.

Nick Malloy

The BASAM program aligned with my professional experience and provided me with new tools and a deeper understanding of how to identify and resolve problems and how to effectively communicate problem resolution, all of which are in demand traits in the professional world. In addition to these skills, a majority of the classes in the program emphasized a team approach that expressed the importance of being able to work in a collaborative team environment to complete course objectives which also aligns with today’s professional demands.

Completing the BASAM degree has motivated me to push even further in my educational pursuits. Since completing the degree I have enrolled in different certification programs that will help me to not only build my resume, but also build onto the foundation laid out from the BASAM program. Additionally, completing my degree has been recognized by my employer and has me on the radar for advanced career opportunities that I otherwise would not have been qualified for.

After applying for admission to SFCC, the next step for admission into the BAS program is to complete the BAS application. Please see the link below for the application, and reach to our Curriculum Advisor if you have questions.
